Shoigu came to Tehran with a message from Putin to Rouhani, source reports

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu during his visit to Tehran held talks with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, dedicated to the Syrian issue. "The sides discussed the situation in Syria in the light of recent events," the Iranian diplomatic source reported.

Also, according to this source, TASS reports, Shoigu conveyed to Rouhani a message from Russian President Vladimir Putin on the settlement of the Syrian crisis.

The Kremlin has not commented on this information.
