Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev discuss Syrian settlement

Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed a number of topical issues of trade and economic cooperation and the international agenda in a telephone conversation with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the Kremlin press service reports.

"The leaders exchanged views on the Syrian settlement, stressing the importance of implementing the joint statement of the Russian Federation and the United States on the cessation of hostilities in Syria," TASS cited the report as saying.
