Ashgabat and Tbilisi discuss issues of bilateral cooperation

On Thursday February 25th, Ashgabat hosted political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and Turkmenistan.

The Georgian side was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister David Jalagania, the Turkmen side by his colleague, Vepa Hajiyev.

Issues of bilateral and regional cooperation were discussed at the meeting, they also stated that in the last period, political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian relations between the two countries have intensified. In addition, the parties emphasized the need to further deepen economic relations, particularly in the transport and energy fields, Georgia Online reports.
