Ramzan Kadyrov admonishes heads of municipal formations

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has urged the heads of regions in the
republic to work harder on development of the economy of municipal
formations, Yuga.ru reports.

The issue was raised at a council in Grozny, Kadyrov’s press-service
says. Kadyrov emphasized that the authorities are not active in the
development of economy.

The Chechen leader believes that each district needs to have factories
and manufacturing plants to bring in income to the budget.

He insisted that by the end of this year each authority should present
a profitable project with plans for 2011. They should reflect the
trends of the economy of each region, investment policy, the terms for
realizing the projects and the numbers of workplaces.
