Dagestani government provides 2.5 million rubles for fire-stricken village of Tsibari

The government of Dagestan has provided 2.5 million rubles as aid to
villagers of the fire-stricken village of Tsibari, RIA Novosti
reports, citing the presidential administration of Dagestan.


The acting chairman of government of the republic, Nizami Kaziyev, has
signed a decree for the Ministry of Labor and Social Economic
Development to provide the funds.


Each villager will receive 10,000 rubles, a family may receive a
maximum of 25,000 rubles.


The fire started on Tuesday. It quickly spread from the lower part of
the village. 85 houses burned down, only 10 were saved. Approximately
400 people live in the village.


An airplane of the Emergencies Ministry brought approximately 40 tons
of humanitarian aid to the villagers on Wednesday.
