Rescuers search for climber who fell into glacier crack on Elbrus

Deputy Head of the Elbrus mountain search and rescue unit of EMERCOM of Russia, Albert Hadzhiyev, stated yesterday that rescuers are searching for a climber who fell into a crack on Elbrus.

According to him, climber Oleg Lobachyov presumably fell into a crack on the Terskol glacier (height above sea level - 3.7 thousand meters). "Two groups of rescuers of 14 people went to search for him," TASS quoted him as saying.
