The checkpoint 'Verkhny Lars' can create a separate corridor for vehicles of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). The Ministry of Transport and Communication of Armenia has appealed to its Russian colleagues with this proposal, the first deputy Minister Artur Arakelyan stated yesterday.

Speaking about whether it will be necessary to expand the road, or whether a separate lane on the existing route will be allocated, he stressed that the proposals are still being discussed, but also added that the complexity of the terrain will be considered while choosing the option, NEWS.am reports.
