Russia to forbid foreigners from retail work in 2011

Russia will forbid foreigners from working in Russian retail outlets
from 2011. The Russian government decided to forbid foreigners from
the retail trading of alcohol drinks, medicine, trading in markets and
stalls and retail trading outside shops.


The Cabinet published a document that comes into force on January 1,
2011. The document also sets a quantity norm for foreigners involved
in retail trading and sports.
