There won't be McDonald's in Armenia

The main European office of McDonald's has denied information about plans to open Armenia's first restaurant of this fast food chain in the near future.

"I can confirm that this is not true. We do not plan to open restaurants in Armenia," 'Novosti-Armenia' quoted its press secretary, Johanna de Koening, as saying.

Earlier, there were reports about plans of a Georgian businessman, Temur Chkonia, to open the first McDonald's restaurant in Yerevan.
