Khilko: there are extremely friendly people in Baku

‘‘Baku residents are very friendly people, and the city of Baku is a very beautiful city itself,’’ Uzbekistan athlete Ekaterina Khilko shared her impressions with a correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza after her performance in the qualifying round of the Trampoline Gymnastics World Cup in Baku.

"We were in the ancient town and I was impressed by the fact that the people are very friendly. They are willing to help in any situation. I was positively impressed. Baku is an elegant, beautiful city,’’ she said. 

Khil'ko also highly appreciated the organization of the competitions. ‘‘Certainly, the organization is wonderful – both the sports hall, and the luxurious trampolines. I think anyone would envy this organization,’’ the athlete added.

At the same time, the representative of Uzbekistan criticized her performance in the individual program. "This is the first serious start this year. I think it was not bad, but in fact it was nothing out of the common. Maybe I relaxed after the New Year and am not in the best form now,’’ Ekaterina Khilko mused.
