The Russian pair of Nikita Fedorenko and Dmitry Ushakov showed the best result in the finals of the men's synchronized programs of the Trampolining World Cup, held in Baku for the first time.

In second place were the pair from Belarus, Vladislav Goncharov and Nikolay Kazak. Portuguese Diogo Ganchinyo and Diogo Abreyu took bronze.

Azerbaijani gymnasts Dmitry Fedorovsky and Ruslan Agamirov were one step short of the podium, behind the pair from Portugal, by only 1.5 points.

The head coach of the Russian national team in trampolining, Alexey Ryzhkov, in an interview with a correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza, praised the level of organization of the tournament. "I am very pleased with the organization, it is very high, higher than in some European countries. Perhaps only China and Russia can boast such organization of competitions, so I was really pleasantly surprised by Azerbaijan and Baku," he admitted.

Ruslan Agamirov, in his turn, informed Vestnik Kavkaza that the pair managed to fulfill exactly what the coaches had planned. "Too bad that it was not enough to get to the podium. We stopped at one moment, and we lost some points because of that. In general, everything was great, there just was not enough sports luck, so to speak. At the same time, we had very strong competitors, so perhaps we really deserved and won this fourth place," he said.

At the European Cup in Barcelona, the pair intends to perform with the same or a little more difficult program. "We will think and work, will try to make our fans happy at the Cup," Agamirov assured.

The athlete emphasized that synchronized trampolining is a special discipline, because in it, it is necessary to constantly feel one's partner, correcting performance literally while flying.
