Medvedev says Russia should prepare properly for the Football World Cup

Russian president Dmitriy Medvedev is glad about the triumph of the
Russian bid to hold WC-2018. He said that the country should prepare

for this event properly and play in an appropriate manner, RIA Novosti
reports.
Earlier, Russian prime-minister Vladimir Putin declared to journalists

that the victory of Russia's bid to hold the World Cup meant that
society believed in the Russian Federation.
"It means that Russia is a country in which you can trust, trust its
opportunities and readiness, despite the fact that some buildings as
well as the economy and the social and political spheres are not
prepared for such an occasion,"  Putin said.
