Azerbaijan receives 34 licenses for Rio de Janeiro Olympics

Azerbaijani athletes have won 34 licenses for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, the Minister of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan Azad Rahimov said.

"It is gratifying that the licenses in new kinds of sport have been won as well," he said.

The minister noted that this shows that the scope of sport is expanding in Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
