The head of the administration of the president of Iran, Mohammad Nahavandian, speaking at a conference in London, appealed to Western countries to facilitate banking relations with Tehran as soon as possible.

He noted that large banks are still "worried about primary sanctions from the United States" and are not going to cooperate with Iranian credit institutions.

"We need to see a facilitation of banking relations as soon as possible and as completely as possible," RIA Novosti cited Nahavandian as saying.
