Merkel: The decision to allocate €6 billion to Turkey was fair

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has said that the allocation of €6 billion for Turkey was a fair balance of interests.

She also noted that "Turkey has made proposals that may significantly reduce the number of illegal migrants in the Aegean Sea together with the NATO operation and other measures," RIA Novosti reports.
