Oil prices rise

World oil prices returned to positive dynamics on the background of the American Petroleum Institute (API) reports on inventory levels of US crude oil. 

This morning, prices for May futures for Brent oil rose by 0.93% to $39.10 per barrel, the April futures price for WTI crude oil increased by 1.35% to $36.83, RIA Novosti reports.

According to API, US crude stockpiles rose 1.5 million barrels last week, compared with analysts' expectations for an increase of 3.4 million barrels.

According to forecasts, the figure rose by 3.452 million barrels to 489.9 million barrels. US commercial crude inventories increased by 4 million barrels last week (0.8) to 486.5 million barrels.
