Rouhani: we have no plan to attack any neighboring country

Iranian president Hassan Rouhani said that the country's missile-launching activity doesn't threaten neighboring counties.

“We have no plan to attack any neighboring country, strengthening of the Iranian missile activity is the only purpose,” the Fars news agency cited the president as saying.

Rouhani slammed the critics of Iran’s missile activity and those who urged the UN Security Council to probe into the country’s recent missile launches, stressing that Iranians don't want tensions.

The President also expressed hope that with the contribution of Tehran, the peace, stability and security will be established in the region, Trend reports.
