Russia arms Iraqi Kurds with anti-aircraft guns

Russia has armed the Iraqi Kurds with weapons, including five ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft units and 20,000 shells for them.

It is reported that the transfer of weapons took place in the presence of the Russian ambassador to Iraq and the deputy head of the General Staff of the Kurdish militia.

According to the Russian representative office, the transfer of weapons to the Kurds was agreed with the Iraqi authorities. In addition, it was the fourth or fifth batch of weapons.
