FIFA spends $574 million to prepare for 2018 World Cup

Last year the International Football Federation (FIFA) spent $574 million preparing for the world championship, which is to take place in 2018 in Russia, a message published on the website of the organization reads.

The financial assistance to the organizing committee of the tournament was $66 million, gazeta.ru reports.

Recall that the world championship will take place in Russia from June 14th to July 15th at 12 stadiums in 11 cities.
