Former German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle passed away in Cologne

A former German Foreign Minister, Guido Westerwelle, has died today in Cologne, the post on the Westerwelle Foundation Facebook page says.

It is noted that the 54-year-old politician died at the University Hospital of Cologne from complications after treatment for leukemia, gazeta.ru writes.
