Painting of Levitan stolen in Makhachkala

A painting of Levitan worth approximately $100,000 was stolen from the
Visual Arts Museum of Patimat Gamzatova in Makhachkala on Saturday,
RIA Novosti reports, citing the Ministry of Interior Affairs of
Dagestan.

The painting is called "The Barge Haulers on the Volga" (1860).
