New airport to be built in Rostov-on-Don

Russian Transport Minister Maksim Sokolov has announced about the construction of a new airport in Rostov-on-Don after the Boeing passenger airliner crashed on its way from Dubai on March 19th.

"The decision was taken. Now it is now being implemented. It is planned to build a new airport in Rostov-on-Don about 20 km from the capital of the Don land,'' Tass cites the Minister as saying.
