Georgian parliament discusses establishment of trade free zone in Anaklia

The Georgian parliament began discussing the amendments to the law "On
a free tourism zone,"
aimed at creating a free economic zone in Anaklia, New-Georgia reports.

In late November Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili took the
initiative to create a free tourist zone in the settlement of Anaklia
on the Black Sea coast.

The Georgian Parliament passed a law in October on the establishment
of a free tourist zone
in the resort town of Kobuleti (Ajaria, Western Georgia). All in all,
27 hotels will be built in the free tourist zone in Kobuleti.
