The head of the press-service of the Kremlin Dmitry Peskov has stated in the "The right to know!" program on the TVC channel that not Russian soldiers, but unindifferent Russians who were in solidarity with the local residents fought in Donbass.

"There are no and have never been Russian troops in Donbass. Have Russian citizens been in Donbas? They have. Are they there now? They are. You know about a huge number of Russians who have a deep sense of solidarity with those who live in Donbass. Certainly, you know about sentiments among these people,’’ RIA Novosti cites him as saying.
