Ministry of Emergency Situations warns of avalanche risk in Karachay-Cherkessia

The Russian Emergencies Ministry in Karachay-Cherkessia has warned about the possibility of avalanches in the republic, which could lead to emergency situations of a municipal nature, so residents and tourists need to remain vigilant while skiing and walking.

The rescue department explained that avalanches often descend from slopes with no shrubs or trees, Caucasus Today reports.
