Putin: Russia is second-biggest global supplier of military equipment

In 2015, the exports of Russian military products were worth $14.5 billion. This was announced today at a meeting of the presidential commission on military-technical cooperation with foreign states by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The head of state stressed that the result is higher than they had planned.

According to him, Russia is in second place on the list of world leaders in the supply of military equipment and weapons to global markets, RIA Novosti reports.
