Founder of WikiLeaks arrested in London

The founder of the website Wikileaks, Julian Assange, has been
arrested in Britain, RIA-Novosti reports. A Stockholm court approved a
prosecution request to detain the 39-year-old Australian in November,
on the basis of accusations of rape and sexual harassment. On the 20th
of November Interpol, at the request of the Swedish prosecutor's
office, circulated  a “red notice” to all 188 member-states of the
organization, putting him on the list of most-wanted persons.

This morning the lawyer of Assange, Mark Stephens, said that he was
preparing "voluntary meetings" of his client with the British police,
which received a European warrant for his arrest.
