15 apartments damaged in gas explosion in multistorey building in Batumi

About 15 apartments were damaged today as a result of an explosion in a multistorey building in Batumi. According to preliminary reports, the explosion occurred in the apartment of an elderly man due to a gas leak.

Representatives of Batumi City Hall informed that the competent authorities will establish the causes of explosion, and also added that the City Hall will provide assistance to the victims, TASS reports.
