US officials forbidden from visiting Karabakh

The US authorities have forbidden their officials from visiting Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of the increased threat to life. Thus, the United States notes that "civilians" are dying as a result of attacks.

"The US Embassy still forbids US officials from visiting this region. Also, we seriously recommend US citizens to avoid visiting Nagorno-Karabakh. This region has no active US consular offices," the official statement of the embassy reads.
