Yerevan's mayor could be fired

News.am reports that the newspaper "Aikakan Dzamanak" published information that the mayor of Yerevan, Gagik Beglaryan, last week kidnapped Aram Kandayan, a worker of the presidential protocol department. According to the newspaper, Beglaryan took Kandayan to his silk factory and beat him.

The administration of the Armenian President gave Beglaryan till Monday to surrender office or apologize to Kandayan and the whole presidential protocol department.
