The awards ceremony of the Association of European Emergency Numbers (EENA) has recently taken place in Prague. The '112' department of the Georgian Interior Ministry became the winner in the nomination 'Best Innovative Service' among 82 world countries.

The department was the first among the 82 countries due to the implementation of an SMS service and video calls, which allows deaf citizens to call 112 and ask for help.
