Forest fires in northern Iran

Forest fires which started on the 18th of November on the southeastern coast of the Caspian Sea in Gulistan province are continuing, Trend reports.

Fire brigades still haven't brought a fire under control in Mikodasht, Aliabad Kelal and two other regions. Strong winds during the night exacerbated the spread of the fires.

At the moment 6 fire-brigade helicopters are trying to extinguish the fires, two more will be put into operation tomorrow. Iran will probably ask for Russia's help.
