Zarif: Karabakh problem must be resolved on basis of international law

The Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, made a statement about the need to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict on the basis of international law.

"If both sides of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh wish, Iran is ready to help restore peace in the region," Trend quotes him as saying.

Zarif also reminded that Iranian officials, including President Hassan Rouhani, have held talks with the Azerbaijani and the Armenian authorities regarding the recent clashes in Nagorno-Karabakh.
