Powerful earthquake occurs south-east of Dushanbe

The Geophysical Service of the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan has recorded tremors with a magnitude of 6.2 points near the border of the republic with Afghanistan.

They occurred at 15:28 (13:28 Moscow time). "The epicenter of the earthquake was located 300 km south-east of Dushanbe, in the territory of Afghanistan," TASS quotes experts of the center as saying.
