The parliament of Armenia passed a new bill on amendments to the law
on international agreements today, involving the legalization of
agreements between Armenia and breakaway regions, News Armenia
reports.

Armenian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Shavarsh Kocharyan
emphasized that the document will not affect the process of settling
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. He reminded that Armenia still has not
concluded an agreement with nagorno-Karabakh.

Armen Rustamyan, head of the commission for foreign affairs and
representative of the Dashnaktsutyun party authorities, noted that
such document makes Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh Republic have equal
status.
