ANAMA detects 85 UXOs in frontal villages

A large number of unexploded ordnance (UXO) has been detected in frontal villages, today.

APA reports that the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) on 16 April has disseminated report on the unexploded ordnances in Terter, Goranboy, Fuzuli and Tovuz districts.

According to the reports, ANAMA on 16 April 2016 has detected 85 unexploded ordnances in frontal villages.

Generally, the Agency during 07-16 April 2016, has inspected a total of 260 houses, 5 farms and planting areas, 2 military sites, 1 village cemetery, 1 village school in Terter, Aghjabadi, Aghdam, Fuzuli, Tovuz and Goranboy districts, detected and neutralized 136 UXOs.

ANAMA is continuing the operations in the frontal villages.
