Lavrov pays official visit to Armenia

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has arrived on an official visit in Armenia where he is going to discuss with the country's leaders the situation in the much-troubled exclave region of Nagorno-Karabakh, as tensions between the conflicting sides flared up last month and bilateral relations, Tass reports.

On April 22, Lavrov will have talks with President Serzh Sargsyan and Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian. His itinerary also includes the laying of flowers at the Eternal Flames at Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex.
