Iran sues the US

Iranian authorities have prepared a lawsuit to the International Criminal Court against the United States because Washington refused to return $2 billion to Iran.

The US Supreme Court ruled to use Iranian state assets this way last week.

"Iran may appeal to the International Court in order to ensure its rights. A lawsuit was prepared for this," the presidential administration of Iran stated.
