NATO may expand its presence in Black Sea region
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaToday in Bucharest, NATO Deputy Secretary General Alexander Vershbow stated that the alliance members must strengthen the presence in the Black Sea region for more effectively containment of aggressors' potential.
"Here, in the Black Sea region, allies must consider strengthening of the presence of NATO's international contingent in order to focus on our capabilities at sea. This presence may be stable, but it will have a defensive nature and correspond to the Montreux Convention," he said.
