Transparency International: no political will in Armenia to combat corruption

There is no political will in Armenia to fight against corruption in the country, the Executive Director of the Transparency International Anti-Corruption Center in Armenia, Varuzhan Hoktanyan, said.

According to him, Armenia is not moving forward in the Transparency International Corruption Perceptions Index, ever since 2003.

Hoktanyan stressed that even though the country has the highest respective ranking within the Eurasian Economic Union, this is little comforting, News.am reports.
