European Commission increases oil price forecast

The European Commission has increased its estimate of the average price of Brent crude in 2016 by almost 15% to $41.07 per barrel from $35.8 per barrel in the previous forecast in winter, the EC document informs.

The forecast for 2017 was also significantly increased up to $45.95 from $42.5 per barrel, RIA Novosti reports.
