Tkachev: I hope we will retain global leadership on wheat exports

RF Minister of Agriculture, Alexander Tkachev, expects that Russia will remain a world leader in the supply of wheat in the new agricultural year.

"We really have become leaders, getting ahead of Canada and America,’’ he said.

"Certainly, we hope that we will retain the leadership in the new agricultural year – almost 25 million tonnes of wheat exports,’’ RIA Novosti cites the head of the Ministry of Agriculture at the SIAL China food exhibition as saying.
