A spokesperson for the Armenian prime minister has provided a clarification on today’s cabinet meeting, which adopted a measure to recognize Nagorno-Karabakh’s independence, Tert.am reports.

Gohar Poghosyan said that the executive has for now approved only a conclusion enclosed to the bill.

“What the conclusion says is that the Armenian Government will justify the adoption of the bill relying on the outcomes of the Armenia-Artsakh dialogue and considering future developments, including external factor.”

“Hence the Government of the Republic of Armenia  has not approved the bill to recognizing Arsakh’s independence,” she said.
