Turkish aircrafts strike PKK positions in northern Iraq

Turkish warplanes destroyed bunkers, gun emplacements, and ammunition depots belonging to the terrorist PKK organization in northern Iraq early Sunday, Trend cites Anadolu.

Speaking on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on talking with the media, military sources said that Turkish warplanes carried out airstrikes against the PKK between 2.00 and 4.30 a.m. local time Sunday in the northern Iraqi regions of Qandil, Medina, Zap, and Gara.

Turkish F-16 and F-4 2020 warplanes safely returned to base after hitting exact positions held by the PKK in the region and destroying its bunkers and gun ammunition.
