Georgian musicians reach Eurovision final

Georgia reached the final of the Eurovision-2016 song contest on the results of the last semifinal.

Nika Kocharov & Young Georgian Lolitaz performed the song 'Midnight Gold' on the stage as number 16. This year, as in the past, the stage director of their performance was Sacha Jean-Baptiste.

Swedish musician Lars Safsund was their backup singer, Sputnik Georgia reports.

According to the results of the second semifinal, in addition to Georgia, nine countries reached the final: Serbia, Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Australia, Bulgaria, Poland, Israel and Belgium.
