US and some European countries insist on prolongation of anti-Russian sanctions

US President Barack Obama has announced an agreement with the leaders of the five Nordic countries on the necessity to prolong sanctions against Russia, Reuters reports.

In particular, the leaders expressed concern about the growth of Russian military presence in the Baltic Sea, as well as actions of its military aircrafts and vessels.

The leaders of Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, Norway and Finland participated in the meeting with the American president,'' Gazeta.ru reports.
