Turkish Airlines intends to increase air transportation to Azerbaijan

Turkey’s largest airline Türk Hava Yolları (THY) waits for activation of air links with cities of Azerbaijan in connection with the forthcoming opening of the third airport in Istanbul and intensive development of tourism industry of Azerbaijan, Abc.az reports.

THY representative in Baku Ilyas Seyfulla informed that the opening of the third airport in Istanbul, expected in the near future, is expected to expand activities of Turkish Airlines, increase its fleet from 312 up to 450 planes and, of course, will have a positive impact on air services with Azerbaijan. We are preparing an action plan in this regard," he added.

According to the THY representative, Azerbaijan has paid great attention to the development of tourism in recent years, and Turkish Airlines wants to use this situation.
