Kazakhstan tries to save ancient cities with UNESCO help

The ancient settlements Otyrar, Syganak, Sauran and Sarayshyk located in the Syr Darya area of ​​the Great Silk Road will be included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Site, the head of the Ministry of Sports of Kazakhstan, Arystanbek Muhamediuly, said.

According to him, the status of World Heritage sites will help to draw particular attention to the ancient Kazakh cities.
