Georgia has expressed interest in the format of the Geneva discussions
and plans to raise a set of issues at the coming round of talks on
December 16, Georgian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nino
Kalandadze said at a briefing, RIA Novosti reports.

The Geneva discussions were organized after the August conflict in
2008. The talks started in October 2008, with delegations from
Georgia, Russia, the USA, Abkhazia and South Ossetia, the EU, the UN
and the OSCE. One of the main results of the meetings is the
development of a mechanism to prevent incidents in the zone of
conflict and develop a reaction to any.

The next round of talks will be supervised by the Secretary of the
Security Council, Giga Bokeria, Kalandadze said.

The meeting will have discussions on the establishment of a security
mechanism and the return of refugees.

There will be talks on the movement of Russian forces and the presence
of the "Smersh" system.

Georgia plans to raise the issue of explosions on its territory from
September to November, with six people arrested and two on the wanted
list. Georgia accuses Russian Major Yevgeny Borisov of organizing the
explosions.

Georgia experienced several explosions in the autumn of 2010,
including one near the US embassy and the headquarters of the Labor
Party. Georgian Deputy Defense Minister Eka Zguladze accused Yevgeny
Borisov of being responsible for the six blasts in Tbilisi on December
7.

Yevgeny Borisov is serving within the peacekeeping forces in Urta
village of Zugdid District. The Georgian police say that it is the
place where Borisov was organizing, financing purchase of explosive
devices and paying for the services.

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls it a Georgian
provocation and says that there is no basis to consider any Russian
officer involved in the blasts.
