First Deputy Managing Director of IMF pays three day visit to Iran

First Deputy Managing Director of the IMF, David Lipton, paid a visit to Iran today, Iranian media reported.

According to Trend reports, during a three-day-visit Lipton will hold talks with the head of the Ministry of Oil Bijan Namdar Zanganeh and chairman of the Central Bank of Iran Valiollah Seifon.

David Lipton is to assess Iran's potential in various sectors of the economy and the possibilities of strengthening confidence among Iran and the participants in international trade.
